FAQ's
Why purchase a custom glove?
NV Baseball has the ability to custom make a glove to your exact
specifications. Not only can you choose from our 19 available colors for the
back, palm, web and lacing of your glove, but you can also choose the exact
size and web style of your glove ( ¼”, ½”, ¾” sizes available). In addition to
choosing your size, web style, and colors, you can truly create a glove that is
right for you. For younger kids or female softball players with smaller hands
and wrists, NV can put a Velcro strap onto any glove to ensure that the glove
fits properly. Also, we can put extra padding into any glove upon request.
Why purchase an NV Maple or Ash bat?
Since NV Baseball bats are Major League Baseball licensed, we guarantee that
our Big League series Maple and Ash Bats are Major League quality. This means
that all Big League series Maple and Ash bats are hand-picked to ensure the
straightest grains and strongest wood. In addition to our Big League wood, you
can fully customize a bat by choosing from our 11 available colors and 5
different models. Lastly, we will personalize each bat by engraving each
players name and / or team name into the bat.
Is NVBaseball.com a secure website?

How do I break-in my NV custom glove?
Breaking in a glove properly has a tremendous impact on the shape, form, and
performance of a glove. Since our gloves are constructed of 100% genuine
cowhide, there are only 2 break-in methods which we recommend. Follow either of
the 2 methods mentioned below and you will achieve that professional feel
you’ve always desired.
1. Wrap your glove in a sealed plastic bag and place the glove
in an area where it is exposed to the sun. Every 30–45 minutes, remove the
glove from the bag and place it on your hand. For 3-5 minutes, proceed to pound
the leather with your fist and shape the glove to your liking. In addition to
pounding and bending the leather, having a good old fashioned catch will have
the same effect as pounding the leather with your fist. Continue this process
until you’ve achieved your desired break-in.
2. For a quick break-in, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Take a small amount of shaving cream and rub it into the palm of your glove.
Shaving cream has an active ingredient (lanilan) which will help break down and
soften the leather when exposed to heat. After placing the glove in the oven
for 3-5 minutes, remove from the oven and let cool for 1 minute. Be careful!!!
The glove will be extremely hot. After the glove has cooled for 1 minute, put
the glove on your hand and proceed to pound and bend the leather. The shaving
cream combined with the heat from the oven and the pounding of your fist will
inevitably loosen up your glove and allow you to achieve a professional
break-in.
How do I maintain my glove?
Now that you have an NV glove, it is extremely critical that you take care of
it properly. After using your glove, place it into a sealed bag in order to
trap the moisture into the leather. You can use a large Ziploc bag, plastic bag
or any other carrying case. By doing so, you will prevent against your glove
drying out and becoming stiff and difficult to use. Please avoid putting oil on
your glove or leaving it in the rain. We believe that oils and water have a
tendency to saturate leather; thus making your glove heavy and more difficult
to use.
How long will it take to receive my gloves, batting gloves and bats from the
time I order them?
Since all NV products are custom made, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. We
will always do our best to expedite the products in a timely manner, but due to
strict quality control standards that we enforce, it is possible that it may
take longer.
What is the return policy on Custom items?

there’s an error by the manufacturer. If there’s a manufacturer’s error, please
contact and notify us of the error. We will resolve the issue immediately. You
